Baba Koen

Welcome to Baba Koen... Dolphin Park to many Americans. This park is very close to a dive area called the Junkyard. Some Okinawan friends of mine call this area "American Village" because many Americans live in this area.
This thing that those two girls are standing on used to swivel around. We tried it out while we were there and it had corroded to the point that it barely moved at all. I'm not exactly sure what the point of it is/was, but it was fun. Those rocks next to them are for reflexology.
There were many people flying kites... as they do at the new year. This open area is the perfect place for playing ball or flying kites.
The beach behind Baba Koen is an excellent place to hunt for sea shells and especially coral.

This little boy made sure my camera was up so he could show off. He waited for me to get ready.

Looks like fun. Are there any reflexology paths near Yokosuka?
